Collection: Tavern Puzzles
Tavern Puzzles® are made by Tucker-Jones House, Inc., a family business established in 1975 by Dennis and Donna Sucilsky. Dennis is a museum trained traditional blacksmith. In 1980 Dennis began production of metal puzzles, incorporating both traditional and original designs, creating the Tavern Puzzle® Collection. All puzzles are 100% handcrafted in the USA.
The purpose of any puzzle is to provide a challenge, entertainment, and fun. This collection does all three, on several different levels. Tavern Puzzles® are the perfect addition to our Morsel Munk market. They help us have fun and grow young, and definitely stretch our minds. On a personal note, we purchased our first of many Tavern Puzzles® in the late 1990's at Porter House in Manchester Center, VT. They've been entertaining - and frustrating - us ever since! Thank you, Tucker-Jones House. :-)
Difficulty Levels:
- Basic: Only a few steps. Good for beginners and in social settings.
- Intermediate: More steps than basic designs, but straightforward.
- Difficult: Multi-step sequences, some with combined maneuvers from basic and intermediate. Often with close tolerances that require precise movements.
- Complex: Many moves and flexible chains, requiring a lot of concentration. Not recommended for novices.
